How has Open Door helped Tanishq to learn from her mistakes?
Open Door team is usually busy crafting questions that make children think. We rarely get to interact with the students for whom we design the questions in the first place.
On our recent visit to one of our partner schools in Pune, we spoke to a student named Tanishq. As she started speaking about Open Door, we realised that we should take out our camera and record her words.
Watch the beautiful story of Tanishq – a student who has realised the importance of questioning.
Why are questions important?
When a child learns something, she may get a good score in the school exam and believe that she has understood the concept completely. Until we question the child in unfamiliar situations and in different scenarios, the child may not realise that there is more depth to learning. Like Tanishq says – they were asking questions that had not even occurred to my mind.
Open Door designs beautiful questions that make children explore the concepts from different angles. This, when done repeatedly, develops thinking habits among children.
